Coming Soon: IPCA Synergy 4 & Bead Fest

Just a heads-up that two exciting events are being held in the next week or two, right here in my backyard (no, not in my actual back yard – it's a manner of speaking, an idiom ... oh never mind): IPCA's Synergy 4 and Bead Fest Philadelphia 2017.

The International Polymer Clay Association is hosting its fourth North American Synergy conference this coming Sunday through Wednesday (August 13 - 16). You can still register online, if you haven't already. It's being held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Philadelphia-Valley Forge, not far from the King of Prussia mall. There will also be pre- and post-conference workshops scheduled all next week, so you should check it out!

Slightly overlapping Synergy4 is the East Coast's largest jewelry event, Bead Fest. Held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, workshops begin on August 16 and the Expo itself starts on August 18. The event is suited to any budget or skill set, has a great lineup of exhibitors and artisans, hands-on activities and oodles more – definitely one of my fave events of the year. Be sure to visit our friends Andrew and William from Allegory Gallery, Leslie Pope of Twisted Sistah Beads & Fibers, Jenny Davies-Raezor and Staci Louise Original at the Expo. (I hope I didn't miss anybody!)
