Liminal. It feels like a really appropriate word right now. Spring is, well, springing. It is a welcome change after what seemed like a very long, cold winter. Folks are getting vaccinated at record speeds. It feels like change is in the air, like we're on the cusp of something..... I, like many, spent most of the winter hunkered down, but now my part of the world is in bloom. And bit by bit, the world opens back up. Craft shows, which were cancelled or virtual in 2020, are starting up again. ArtSci designs will be making their debut appearance at the Abington Arts Center's Spring Craft Fair on April 17, an outdoor show with food trucks, live music, kids activities, and arts vendors. Click on the link for details and directions. We're also planning to be at the Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show in early June (also outdoors). Hope to see you at one (or both) of these! If you can't make it one of the shows, I am thrilled to be back at the newly reopened Artist's Loft in Conshohocken, along with 30 other artists in a wide variety of media. Next time you're in town, be sure to check it out! My current collection at the Artist's Loft is called "You Can Never Hold Back Spring", in shades of green and purple, named after a Tom Waits song. Because even though you've lost your way, the world keeps dreaming of spring.
